Family Court Dispute Resolution
Case coordination, settlement conferencing and mediation
services to those that have petitioned the family court for relief in custody/visitation
disputes. Case coordination and settlement conferencing services are provided by
program staff. Mediation services are provided by program staff and a roster or
trained, volunteer mediators who assist the parties in developing parenting agreements
that meet their needs and reflect the best interests of their child[ren]. Referrals
are usually made by judges, court personnel, law guardians and private attorneys.
Services available in Erie, Niagara, Genesee and Chautauqua counties. There is no
cost to participants in this program.
